About Me

I am currently a senior student at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon studying apparel design. I come from a rural community on the Oregon Coast, where I was born and raised about twenty minutes away from the Pacific City beach. Creative projects have always been an interest of mine with a special passion for designing apparel and transforming my designs from my head to reality through sewing. I love the technical details of design and getting to create a perfect garment through patterning, construction, and fitting techniques.

 My designs are inspired by feelings I experience in different life situations and receive from what I am surrounded by. This can be anything from the captivating excitement of being at an event, to the dramatic beauty of being surrounded by nature, as well as the variety of textures in everyday life that interest me and influence my work. I endeavor to capture how I feel at a specific moment in time in the design that I am creating so that I can give someone else that experience or relive it myself.

My goal is that the apparel I design will inspire the wearer to have emboldened confidence and will influence them to further pursue the discovery of their own personal style.
